One of the most exciting projects to me is a master bath renovation. To transform this personal space from chaos to calm, dated to timeless, is quite exciting! For this project, the homeowners wanted a spa-like experience with elements of nature.
Before the renovation, this 1990’s master bathroom was dated, and not the most relaxing of spaces.
My job was to transform their vision into reality. And it all starts with…a great plan!
The layout did not change drastically, but walls would come down to open the space.
With the selection of beautiful materials and a spa-like, nature inspired color pallet,
the project was off to a great start
The two opposing walls get floor to ceiling quartz tile, laid in a vertical pattern vs. horizontally, to give the allusion of water falling. This wall will be in the shower and behind the tub…relaxation is on it’s way!
The soaking tub goes in under mounted to gorgeous Lagos Azul limestone decking (also used on the vanity tops). We found the most beautiful slabs of this gray/blue limestone from Portugal. Nature continues to surprise and inspire me with it’s beauty!
This master bath spa retreat is well on its way!
Check back next week to see the finished project revealed!!!
