I am so excited to share this transformation of a dated, uninspiring master bathroom to one of tranquility, luxury, and timeless qualities. The concept was to create a spa-like experience with elements of nature. I think this was achieved and more! See what you think!
Now as the home owners enter their new master bathroom, tranquility and luxury surround them! They can shut the door to the outside world and escape to serenity and calm!
The walls and doors on either side of the quartz tile wall were painted Sea Salt by Sherwin Williams. It is a beautiful soft pale blue green that quiets and brings peace to the soul.
Beautiful Roma frames surround mirrors that hang over vanities from Kohler. These Art deco inspired vanities bring an element of history into this contemporary space. The merging of the past into the present has a grounding effect that embraces and brings a spirit of timeless quality.
By removing the old walls of the shower enclosure and replacing them with floor to ceiling glass door and walls, natural light from the large window permeated the room. A beautiful roman shade in a basket weave linen from Pindler & Pindler adds softness and a simple elegance. A great find, the beautiful Oushak rug marries the entire color pallet together, adding an element of curvilinear lines to this otherwise clean line space.
A simple neutral 16” x 16” porcelain tiles line the side walls of the shower, tub and tub front. A great inexpensive back drop to highlight the fabulous waterfall-like Quartz wall tiles and river rock pebble shower floor, allowing them to take center stage.
All faucets and towel bars are from the Kohler Memoirs collection. Art deco inspired design in a classic chrome finish, these fixtures have great architectural appeal. Fluffy white towles and a simple candle— time to soak the cares of the day away!
