I love to eat… love to dine… love to design kitchens. In this post I share my design philosophy about kitchen island seating. The experience of eating can become dining. Slowing down… not just eat and go, but talking, savoring, and enjoying the experience. Life is so fast paced. We tend to rush through everything, eating includes. Dining gives us the opportunity to not just eat, but connect with those we care about. See great examples of kitchen island dining.

I love chairs. Chairs are like people, they each have a unique personality. Some are serious, some quirky, some are feminine while others are masculine. Some are quiet, others are loud and quite noticeable… you get the picture. A great chair can be the inspiration for a room, or just what is needed to complete and make a space special and interesting. In this post I show many examples of great chairs for interior design projects. There is also a book review of Chairs: A History by Florence de Dampierre.
